Fast and FRESH, everything from the bread to soup to desserts are made in house. Amazing menu, it all looks so good. I tried the grilled cheese and it was wonderful. Nice crust on the outside, gooey flavorful inside. The staff was very friendly and engaged. They have a pretty generous delivery area, too. Will definitely return.

Apparently I'm a dissenting opinion here. I thought the staff was great and the food was adequate. I had the blue roast beef with bacon, with a brownie and blood orange soda. The taste was fine, but for a $10 sandwich I know about 10+ better options for my money. I'll give it another shot and try some different items, though I have to stick with the 3-star rating for now.

Went here for the first time tonight and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were fabulous as well! Delicious food and great service, everything you want when dinning out. 100%! Definitely going back!

Got a sandwich and a salad and it was great. The manager was super friendly and accommodating as I am a vegetarian. He made sure I got something that I would like. I would recommend eating here. Great food and great people. Will be back here again for sure. Would be nice to see more of these stores versus all the other corporate garbage. That is all.

Fresh, tasty and uniquely different. I like hot subs so was happy to hear you can have your sub served hot or cold. Staff is super friendly too. Next time I'll try the 'build a sandwich' option as I'm anxious to try the pretzel bread.

Had the turkey melt. Took them a bit longer than other places to make it. Could have been a tad bigger. But DAMN that was tasty. Bread was lightly fried in butter, healthy portion of meat, the veggies were fresh, and the sauce on it was great! Much higher quality than the nearby Subway, Jimmy John's, and (second best local sandwich option) Jersey Mike's. BUT less bang for your buck.

Wow wow wow amazing subs. Very impressed. I went in thinking this would be your average subway kind of restaurant/Jimmy Johns but no it blew me away. I had a steak sandwich and they put a raw streak right on the stove top. I had some ghost pepper chz subbed in and it was amazing. Very quick for such good quality. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Urban Sub. I've ordered sandwiches here at least two dozen times and have always been more than satisfied. They use top notch ingredients, they customize however yuk like and the service is terrific. Plus... they even deliver.! I'll never order from another competitor as long as they keep doing things they way they are now. If they could only get they're online ordering working again, that would be great!

Awesome. I had the Westside Italian Sub, she had the Chipotle Pulled Pork. Both were quite delish. The bread on my sandwich seemed like it had just came out the oven, fresh and soft. Thick slice of fresh tomato, melted provolone, both made it pretty good. The Chipotle Pulled Pork was spicy and full of flavor, yet not over powering, and paired well with the cole slaw. I also had a chocolate chip cookie which was soft, enjoyable, and likely baked earlier that day. The restaurant space itself is small, casual, modern decor, lacks pretension, and inviting. Very clean. A few small tables inside to sit and eat, with more space outside. What really won us over, despite the food, was the man running the register and taking the orders, Jason. Friendly, casual, gave us time to look the menu over, informed us as to what soup was on, brought our food out to us, gave us time to eat, checked back in at the appropriate time to ask how it was. Great service. I asked when we were leaving, and he is also the owner. Props / respect to the small business man! They also deliver. We will be coming back.

Was in the neighborhood for a meeting, so decided to try something new for lunch and picked this out off of Yelp. It's a small sandwich shop, designed primarily for takeout and delivery. There were three tables that seat two each, and a high top counter that sat three. Decided to try their Westside Italian Sub, with an italian roll, and a side of cole slaw. I paid and after a few minutes they brought my food to me. The cole slaw was excellent. I like my cole slaw on the dry side, and this was perfectly dressed. The cabbage was crunchy. Very fresh. The sub was also excellent. It's often the case that sub rolls are either undistinguished bread, or french bread that is too tough, causing the ingredients to squeeze out. This roll struck an nice balance, having good character and flavor, but wasn't too tough. The meat was nicely toasted, and the toppings all seemed very fresh. It was a flavorful sandwich, and was more than I could eat. The staff was very friendly. More than half of the customers who came in during my visit were known to the staff. This would be on my weekly lunch rotation if it was near where I was working.

Gourmet sandwiches. That's all you need to know. Had one of the best sammies in my life here a few weeks back--and I've eaten countless sandwiches in my time on this green earth. The place is wedged in between Yangtze and Taste of India right up under 100 and Park Place Blvd. It took the boys a few minutes to craft my order but it was worth it. Also, it was not quite the busy hour so maybe they can step to it during the weekday lunch rush. Definitely look forward to trying them again soon! Mmmm mmm good!

I was very pleased with the sub that I got from Urban Sub. I ordered the Chicken Pesto, and it was a good value. I will have to try more of their sandwiches. Fresh ingredients and fast service. Spend the extra dollar and go here instead of Subway. You will not be disappointed.

I had the Turkey and chicken wild rice soup. Super tasty food and very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back and try another sub.

Only been here a few times and every sub (plus soup) has been delicious. Employees are friendly and helpful. Delivery was prompt when I ordered it. Try the meatball and italian. Hard to go back to a Subway or Jimmy John's after having this place. Gotta be a tough location to survive in as it's hard to see from the road but I'm hoping Urban Sub sticks around for awhile.

We tried Urban Sub out after a Costco run and were blown away. We had a hard time deciding what to get, because everything sounded so good. The cashier recommended the #9 grilled smoked turkey. Wow. The pretzel bun was beyond amazing. We would give them 10 stars if it was an option. We'll definitely be back!!

The staff is very friendly here. They love talking to you and make sure you're having a good day every time I visit. That and their menu is delicious and quite diverse for just a sub place.

My God, this place is just wonderful! The array of gourmet subs and sandwiches listed on their menu is amazing. Hot or cold, made the way you want them. Don't like pretzel buns? Put it on a French baguette instead! Hold the tomatoes? No problem! Had seen their shop since they opened up back in 2014 in what was formerly a Subway space (kind of ironic, huh?) but at the time I was a fan of Jersey Mike's subs and really didn't think that this new place was going to be around long (yeah, yeah, shame on me!) Decided on a lark one day to check out their online menu and was very impressed by the types of items they offered and thought I'd give them a try out. Very glad I did! First off, when walk in there, whomever is working behind the counter says "Hello" and welcomes you. Second, the place is clean...really clean. It's a small space with some tables which can probably seat 10-12 customers total and there are 2-3 tables outside of their space if you want to relax outside while eating. Enough about that, it's the food that keeps me coming back. Have been there now 5 times and counting. Best sandwiches that I've personally tried are: chipotle pulled pork on a ciabatta roll, chicken ranch on a French baguette, smoked turkey melt on a pretzel bun and a triple cheese grilled cheese that is the gooiest bit of heaven I've ever had.....make sure you get it with bacon, it makes it just that much better! They used mixed greens on their sandwiches, not shredded iceberg lettuce. The bacon is thick cut, not paper thin. The tomatoes, onions and other vegetables look and taste as though they were just delivered from a local farm. The various breads they use look as though they came from Byerly's up the road. The sandwiches themselves are a full meal...piled thick and high. There's no skimping on anything at this place. Awesome soups to go along with any sandwich order. They've got great desserts as well with a good selection of cookies and bars. The brownies are perfectly delicious, their rich and gooey carmelitas bar will make you want a second one and their chocolate frosted peanut butter rice krispie bar just melts in your mouth! Despite living within walking distance of: Subway, Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's and now a recently opened up Which Wich?, Urban Sub is THE only place I go to now if I want a great tasting hot sandwich or sub, some soup and a sweet treat for afterwards. If you want a cheap, bland and thrown together sandwich, go visit any of the chain shops. If you want a gourmet sandwich that you will really enjoy and rave about, come to Urban Sub! You'll pay a slight bit more, but after you have one, you won't care at all. They are located between Yangtze and India Palace which all share an area of parking which can make it difficult to find a parking spot at certain times.

I ordered a Ruben sandwhich. First of all, the parking was a mess, as we had to park down the street. But once we got in there I would say that this is one of the better sandwhiches I have had. However, perhaps it's because I read too many reviews, but I felt somehow expected more. I would reccomended this place to anyone that wants a good sandwhich.

Agree with other reviews. What a great place. Super nice staff behind the counter. The selection of fresh sandwiches is huge, plus you can make up your own. I had the Philly cheesesteak on ciabatta. Excellent sandwich. Not the traditional Philly given the ciabatta bread, but awesome just the same. I will be back to sample all the other sandwich choices!

Like Joey from Friends I like to consider "sandwiches" my favorite food. I don't often give 5 stars unless it's one of the best places in its category that I've been to. Urban Sub fits in this category and as a sandwich connoisseur I think it's delicious. So far I've tried the Chipotle Pulled Pork and the Chicken Ranch (with avocado spread) and they were perfect delicious sandwiches. Great ingredients like fresh carved roasted chicken and fresh veggies. And anyone who doesn't put coleslaw on pulled pork it's just crazy (yes they do here). Yes it's a little more for a sandwich - similarly priced to ordering a sandwich at a sit-down restaurant but it's definitely worth it as many other people have also said. There isn't a ton of room for seating, only like 5 tables but a lot of people take food to go. I'd definitely recommend this over all area sandwich shops if you're willing to pay a little extra, it's worth it.

Dynamite. Not your average sandwich shop. Everything is prepared fresh in house and you can taste the difference. Ingredients you would expect to find in a high end restaurant. Great friendly service. Great foodie spot. I noticed the few reviewers who gave them a bad reviews mentioned it was expensive compared to other sandwich shops. Yes, is does cost about $3 more for lunch compared to Subway. Comparing Urban Sub to Subway is like comparing Outback Steakhouse to Manny's. Yes, Outback is less expensive but there is no comparison in quality.

The turkey melt with bacon might be the best sandwich I have ever had. I don't normally even like turkey melts. I don't like pretzels(its on a pretzel bun) either. Its really good.

Amazing sandwiches here. Quality fresh ingredients, and friendly helpful staff. The place is a hidden gem. The also have some top quality soups to accompany your sandwich, and when they have it on offer the meatball hoagie is to die for.
